  • Develop practical strategies to support people who have needs related to serious illness that may not otherwise be met.
  • Appreciate the role of frontline workers in having difficult conversations with clients.
  • Develop skills and comfort in having conversations about health, decline, dying, and support needs of clients.
  • Carry out one strategy for self-compassion that they can use after the session
