Can You See Me Now? A Human Trafficking Course for Service Providers by Survivors of Human Trafficking (Approximately 4 hours)

Description: “Can you see me now” is a course for Service Providers designed and created by award winning Canadian survivor advocate Timea E. Nagy. The course is designed for both Police officers and Service providers for detecting a victim of human trafficking and to be able to offer victim centered trauma informed support in various situations including emergencies, transitional stages and long-term care.

The course will cover: The Mindset of a Victim Before, During and After Trafficking Domestic Sex Trafficking Forced Labor Why victims don’t leave Victim centered approach for service providers.

 

Digital Sex Trafficking (45 minutes)

Description: Matt Richardson, a Cybersecurity expert, walks us through the dangers of social media, digital sex trafficking, warming signs and how to prevent a child from being exploited.
