During this workshop participants will gain a basic understanding of the brain and acquired brain injury as well as an overview of cognitive changes post-injury. The afternoon portion of this workshop focuses on screening & assessment methods, cognitive compensa- tion strategies and strategies to manage tough behaviors. Participants can expect direct instruction, small group activities and group discussions throughout the day
