The objective of this presentation is to provide information about taxes, benefits and credits that is specific to low to modest income individuals and why they should file their taxes so they can get the benefits and credits they may be entitled to. We will also teach people how they can protect themselves against ongoing CRA scams. Service Canada will give some general information on the Old Age Security and their programs. We will give general information on how the amounts are calculated.
